Drone Imaging of 60 Windows Streamlined Restoration Planning; Assets Delivered Swiftly In 48 Hours
Problem: Pittsburgh’s Northside YMCA needed to restore over 60 out of nearly 250 windows across 6 different sides of their building. To plan the restoration, they required detailed and close-up views of the selected windows to assist in decisions such as scaffold placement.
Solution: Cloud Collective was engaged to utilize our arsenal of drones to capture high-resolution photographs of the targeted windows. We conducted a precise mapping exercise to create a nomenclature and key, facilitating easy reference for the contractors when reviewing the final images.
Result: The Northside YMCA was highly satisfied with the project's execution. Through meticulous planning and the development of a comprehensive key, Cloud Collective completed the shoot in one day—half the planned duration—and delivered the high-quality assets within 48 hours.
